SOFT CENTRE champions radical new ideas in sound, art, and digital media through its annual festival and various collaborative projects. Since its inception in 2017, SOFT CENTRE has been lauded for its experimental artistic programming, winning ‘Music Event of the Year’ at the FBi Radio SMAC Awards in 2017 & 2018. In addition to the annual festival, SOFT CENTRE works with organisations and artists across a variety of practices to develop cutting edge cross-disciplinary performances, public installations and programs. UNFURL is proud to partner with Australia Council of the Arts, CreateNSW, City of Sydney, Poor Toms, FBi Radio, Atomic and Doom Juice.

SOFT CENTRE would like to acknowledge that all of the work we undertake as a collective, happens on stolen land. We acknowledge the traditional and original owners of the land on which we operate - the Gadigal, Gweagal and Bidjigal clans people of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
